Jisun Baek is an associate professor at KDI School of Public Policy and Management. She received her Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from Columbia University and her B.A. in Economics from Yonsei University. She is an applied microeconomist utilizing Korean microdata and micro-spatial data. The scope of her research topic is broad, ranging from urban economics, and industrial organization to labor economics. Her primary research interests include empirical analyses of economic agents' responses to policies. She is also interested in how the transportation infrastructure changes the shape of our economy.
